Gravity Blanket Opinion

A weighted blanket is specially designed to be 8-12% of your body weight. We’re referring to the same type of low-tech sensory hacks that give calm to those that experience clinical PTSD, anxiety, and within the spectrum of autism. This gives you the feeling of being hugged or held & simulates the therapeutic benefit of DTPS to promote relaxation and deeper sleep. These natural chemicals in our body regulate our mood and overall sense of calm by helping us to settle down from stressful or anxious situations, relax faster and sleep deeper.
When under the blanket, you experience that great feeling of being hugged, cuddled or swaddled which is as soothing for adults as it is for children.
Undoubtedly, nostalgia plays its part and we end up under one of these weighted blankets.
But beware, not all are created equally and only a few are designed for breathability.
The Mosaic blanket seems to be one of the most relevant early adapter to the trend and we absolutely love the quality and variety they offer. Gravity Blanket Opinion
The added benefits include testimonials related to insomnia, sleep deprivation, depression, restlessness, and other sensory disorders. Although I haven’t personally had these ailments or issues, I can say from a very practical standpoint, the Mosaic blanket is superbly comforting and should be a go-to in the coming winter months. They run sales for the upcoming season, grab one for you and another as a gift for a loved one.
I recently went to Minnesota for a wedding and the 50 degree weather made me wish I had my Mosaic blanket with me. If you are at all interested I suggest giving it a try, they offer a variety of products that you can ease into (pun intended).
I’ve been using mine with my Muse headband and Alexia Meditation Seat for a unique before bed ritual. This is the difference maker for me and has been for quite sometime. I feel sorry for those having trouble sleeping, same as those that are anxious and stressed often. What a miserable existence! I hope I can at least begin to offer a way to combat these chronic issues through a few great products instead of drugs and other temporary fixes that treat the symptom and not the cause.
